New Yorker Magazine Endorses Artisan Bread!
Bread has been much maligned in recent years – due to the rise of gluten allergies and an overwhelming glut of processed bread in the market. Artisan bread is nothing like wonder bread – it contains four ingredients: flour, water, salt, and yeast, and furthermore, the natural proofing process allows the gluten to break down further, leading to less sensitivity. Plus it’s friggin’ delicious.
We bake our bread nightly with zero fillers or preservatives so you can enjoy in fresh every day. And we are so glad the New Yorker is celebrating the comeback of a traditional method of baking that’s been around for centuries. But don’t take our word for it – read the article here!
We are going to Mohegan Sun Winefest!
We are thrilled to announce that we are the OFFICIAL BREAD SPONSOR of this year’s Mohegan Sun Winefest! What does this mean? There will be fresh Hartford Baking baguette samples on all the tables so you can cleanse your palate in between tastings (what’s better than bread and wine… honestly?) And if you’re planning on attending the Celebrity Chef Dine Around, all of the participating chefs will be using our bread in their dishes. Get your tickets here!
